The Aegis Project is a notable one just because the file name and the title differ more significantly than most. May I ask where your Steam save files are located at? Mine is at “ C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata ”.Īnd yeah, renaming is a fairly minor feature overall and is mainly for long list readability. Please keep them coming as you think of other features/ideas. I may add an option to rename the game later on but as I said, it’s currently a low priority for me.Īll your feedback are very much appreciated. Renaming the games manually isn’t currently possible and I believe it should have a low priority since most game names are already pretty explanatory ( aegisproject180files).

Perhaps Steam Web API can be used to get the full name, I’ll see if it’s possible without an API key. I don’t think I can fetch the game’s full name automatically because the full name isn’t stored anywhere in the save folder. The game names are fetched from the save file’s filename ( storePSaegisproject180filesPSstate). May I ask where your Steam save files are located at? Mine is at “ C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata”. On my Windows, the save manager can actually find all apps in the Steam save folder automatically (so, when I click the grey box where the game’s title is displayed, I find the list of games pre-populated). In fact I couldn't find it at all on my drives and I tried them all so obviously something is FUBAR with the save location not the file itself.Īlso I just tested this : I rebooted my computer and now the new vault I had mae 30 min ago is gone too.I see. As I said I made a new vault just to see and I can access it after login out and back in again but the save of that new vault is NOT in the same location than the old one. Thanks for the info it might be useful in the future but it's not the issue this time. More info on editing manually via links from Then edit json online with trying to find what to fix or checking if it's FUBAR.Īfter that encrypt again and try to load. Then take a look in the logs %localappdata%\FalloutShelter\Fallout Shelter.log after trying to start the game while old save is in proper folder.
